The Public Relations Department performs a variety of functions for the Association including the publication of the Alabama School Journal. Articles from the Journal are available for members on the mynews page of this site. Regular publication dates are the first and third Mondays of each month and weekly when the Alabama State Legislature is in session. The Public Relations Department also promotes advertising sales for the Journal.
The department publishes many booklets for members such as the association representative handbook, handbooks for local leaders, pocket and planning calendars, the new teacher handbook, and promotional materials for membership retention and recruitment.
