NEA Student Program Promotes Global Campaign for Education Youth Advocacy
The Global Campaign for Education Youth Advocacy Training is a biannual training program that not only equips students and young professionals with information about education for all, but also trains them in ways to tell others. During the training, participants work with and learn from their coalition members about how to advocate for equal access to a quality education worldwide. In addition to an in-depth look at international education issues, policies, and actors, advocates participate in skills training in grassroots and grasstops organizing, event planning, community mapping, online organizing and more.
The Global Campaign for Education is looking for applicants for this summer’s advocacy training, June 21-25, 2015. It is open to leaders between the ages of 18 and 25. The deadline to apply is May 4, 2015.
