Are Alabama public schools on the right or wrong track?

After a drop in positive evaluations of Alabama public schools in 2004, in 2007,
members continue to believe Alabama public schools are on the right track.

AEA Member Satisfaction Ratings

Members are highly satisfied with AEA's support of public schools (97%) and AEA's support of them personally (97%). A strong majority of members (91%) believe they get their money's worth from AEA membership.

AEA's Top Priorities

AEA member top priorities are keeping health insurance costs low and pay increases. Members strongly
supported constitutional amendments to increase the Economic Development Fund and to protect the Health Care
Trust Fund and strongly oppose a proposed income tax cut to be paid for with future ETF revenues.
