The CSRC

The Capital Survey Research Center (CSRC) is the polling division of the AEA. Established in 1996, the CSRC is a 24-station state-of-the-art telephone interviewing center. The CSRC uses a Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system that allows for extensive controls of demographic and geographic factors such as race, gender, and region. Coupled with random digit dialing selection of telephone numbers, the system produces highly representative survey samples that accurately reflect the population being surveyed. Results of recent CSRC polls are regularly posted on MYAEA.org.

2005 Alabama Education Landscape Survey
2005 Alabama Education Landscape Survey
Public education continues to be the number one priority for Alabama voters and voters overwhelmingly believe that it is personally important to have good public schools in their community and in all of Alabama. Voters believe Alabama public education is on the right track because of better education and dedicated and qualified teachers and on the wrong track because of lack of funding. (180 KB file)
