If you're a teacher or education support professional on the lookout for high-quality professional development, the NEA has a new resource for you, the NEA Academy. The NEA Academy is NEA’s new site devoted to meeting the professional needs of teachers and education support professionals! The Academy is a brand new offering from NEA and is still a work in progress. There are some great online training opportunities, along with a sections on advice and mentoring, teacher tools - including lesson plans tips and the NEA Teacher Toolkit, a learning community, and a section entitled Dean's office, where you can submit ideas for new courses.
