Professional Rights and Responsibilities Conference

The AEA PR&R Commission will hold its annual statewide conference on Friday and Saturday, April 13-14, 2012, at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa at the Convention Center, 201 Tallapoosa Street, Montgomery, Alabama.  Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the lobby at the Convention Center, followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. and a social event.  The Conference will continue on Saturday with workshops beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding with a luncheon.

General sessions and workshops will provide information on the Students First Act, Charter Schools, Payroll Deductions, and other important employment issues.  Dr. Mabry will give a Legislative update during the Friday evening general session and we’ll close out on Saturday with our traditional “call to action” luncheon.  Specific workshop topics and additional information will be provided in upcoming issues of our AEA Journal.

The cut-off date for the hotel reservation is March 14, 2012.
