Al the Astronut
Al stands for Alabama where I was born.
Astro stands for star…I want to travel among the stars.
Nut stands for what I am…an Alabama peanut.

I would love to travel all over the world, but I would especially like to travel out of this world and be an explorer. I am hoping to have many adventures with the students of Alabama this year while my friend, Astronaut Doug Wheelock, is aboard the International Space Station. I hope to take you on many adventures. We will travel aboard the International Space station to show you how it works. We will learn how the astronauts eat in space. We will learn how astronauts sleep in space. We will learn how astronauts work in space… inside and outside the International Space Station. We will learn about robots and even learn to build one. We will learn what the astronauts see while they are in space. We will even learn how to communicate with astronauts in space! Are you ready for our adventure to begin?
